I just read about this free lecture on the 8th of December at the O2. Thought I’d share!
Not sure if anyone has heard of the speaker Charlotte Huggins before, but it says she’s a Hollywood producer. Haven’t really had time to look into it much as I’m busy doing work, but it’s about the recent repeated interest in 3D entertainment as far as I can tell.
Thinking about it in a broader, city-related, context… There are 3D displays that have been developed that you don’t need glasses for:

Sam and I went to the talk Rebecca mentioned about games and the city at the RSA. They have some interesting projects on the go - definitely worth checking out :)

My friend was lucky enough to get involved with this project a few months ago. The main dude, Cezar, had an idea for a international space station on water kind of thing a few years ago and now the project has progressed to the stage where he is currently touring with a prototype looking for sponsorship. Pretty cool, check the vimeo
